The deconstruction project of the original Champlain Bridge has earned Envision Gold certification, recognizing its excellence in sustainable development. Led by JCCBI, the project stood out for its responsible practices, including 96% material reuse, the protection of natural environments, and the creation of the Héritage Champlain Pathway, generating positive benefits for the community.

Recognition for the excellence in innovative practices by entrepreneurs to protect the environment and preserve natural resources as a way to uphold sustainable development.
PIARC-Québec National Prize 2022
Recognition for the maintenance project for the Jacques Cartier Bridge multipurpose path and sidewalk, along with our partner Arup.
Prix initiatives circulaires 2021
Recognition for the Canada-wide Champlain Bridge Material Reuse Competition in the public organization category of the Prix initiatives circulaires.
AFG Quebec’s 2021 consulting engineering grand awards
Our teams which worked on modernizing the systems of the Melocheville Tunnel, won the award in the Telecommunications and New Technologies category, in collaboration with CIMA+.
Grand prix d’excellence en transport 2020
This award recognizes the teams who worked on the pilot project to simulate winter operations on the multipurpose path and sidewalk of the Jacques Cartier Bridge. In collaboration with ARUP.
This rewards JCCBI’s public participation approach implemented as part of the original Champlain Bridge deconstruction project, which notably enabled nearly 5,000 people to participate in the consultation activities held in 2019.
