To provide a smoke-free environment for all spectators, smoking is no longer permitted on the bridge during the fireworks except in designated areas. Smoking areas will be set up on the bridge during these events. Please consult the map above for locations.
To ensure spectator safety during the fireworks, JCCBI would also like to advise users that the bridge will be completely closed in the evening from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Note that the bridge access ramps will be closed prior to the event at approximately 8 p.m. Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The sidewalk and the multipurpose path will be completely closed between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. during these events. Please note that the closing operation will begin at least 45 minutes in advance, around 7:45 p.m. Only pedestrians, strollers and people with reduced mobility will have access to the bridge; bicycles will not be allowed on the bridge.
