To ensure spectator safety during the fireworks, JCCBI would like to advise road users that the bridge will be completely closed for the fireworks evenings:

  • Complete closure of the bridge in both directions, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
  • Access will be maintained for emergency services.

Active Mobility:

  • The sidewalk and the multipurpose path will be completely closed between 7:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. during these events. 
  • Only pedestrians, strollers and people with reduced mobility will have access to the bridge.
  • Bicycles will not be allowed on the bridge.

Note: To provide a smoke-free environment for all spectators, smoking is no longer permitted on the bridge during the fireworks except in designated areas. Smoking areas will be set up on the bridge during these events.
