July 29, 2021 Active mobility Champlain Deconstruction

JCCBI would like to inform active mobility users that a safety corridor will be set up on the seaway dike over the next six months (August 2021 to January 2022) in anticipation of preparatory work at an elevated height for the deconstruction of the steel structure of the Champlain Bridge.

  • Cyclists must dismount from their bikes to safely travel through the corridor.
  • Flaggers will be on site while the corridor is being set up, and appropriate signage will be put in place once the corridor is in service.
