The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) is inviting the Canadian public to give its opinion on key aspects that will inspire a new public artwork. This artwork, which will be a sculpture designed specifically for the South Shore entrance to the Jacques Cartier Bridge, will be installed in 2026. Let’s work together to inspire the creation of a public art piece that will be a source of pride!

The new sculpture will be part of the redevelopment of this sector, which began with the construction of a new building for JCCBI’s Operations and Maintenance team. In the coming months, the old toll station will be deconstructed, the site will be redeveloped and greened, and the artwork will be installed in 2026.
As a manager of major infrastructure, JCCBI helps people get where they need to go and upholds the safety and longevity of our infrastructure while ensuring that our structures blend with their surroundings and benefit the community. This transformation is a key part of this vision and will be capped off with the installation of the new sculpture designed with input from the public.
For nearly 95 years, the Jacques Cartier Bridge has connected Montreal and Longueuil and, with this survey, JCCBI also wants to connect with you by inviting you to take part in this SHORT SURVEY >
