JCCBI at the 2026 CSCE Annual Conference: Sharing expertise and promoting engineering

On June 4 and 5, we participated in the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) conference, a key event for the engineering community across the country.

During the event, several members of our team took the floor to present their expertise and the lessons learned from some major projects that have been completed in recent years.

Major projects at the heart of the discussions

The presentations focused in particular on:

  • the deconstruction of the original Champlain Bridge, which is a complex and unique undertaking on a Canadian scale;
  • various integration and applied research projects;
  • and also the Québec Bridge, as well as the challenges relating to its integration and enhancement.

These presentations highlighted the real-world approaches and innovative solutions that we developed to address the challenges associated with managing major infrastructures.

Showcasing JCCBI’s expertise

By sharing our insights with our peers, we play an active role in advancing and innovating engineering practices, particularly in the areas of sustainability, asset management, and the optimization of complex projects.

Attending the conference also gave us the chance to engage with industry partners, contribute to collective discussions, and strengthen ties among the community of professionals.
