Active mobility | Jacques Cartier Bridge: installation of anti-glare fencing at four areas on the multipurpose path

The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) would like to inform active mobility users that it has installed anti-glare fencing at four areas on the Jacques Cartier Bridge multipurpose path to reduce the glare from vehicle headlights. Mentioned by cyclists to JCCBI during different discussions, these areas include:

  • Section 2 - South Shore side: a 35-m area and a 20-m area.
  • Section 4 - Between the St. Lawrence Seaway and Île Sainte-Hélène Pavilion: a 35-m area.
  • Section 8 - Montreal side: an 80-m area.

Thank you and stay safe!
