International des Feux Loto-Québec, 2025 edition
The 39th season of the International des Feux Loto-Québec wrapped up on July 31. In June and July, a grand total of 158,289 spectators watched one of the eight fireworks displays from the Jacques Cartier Bridge. The closing night alone attracted 31,000 visitors.
For each event, our Operations and Maintenance team orchestrates the implementation of safety measures on the bridge in collaboration with JCCBI’s partners, including the Sûreté du Québec, the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal, the Service de Police de l’agglomération de Longueuil and the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable. Thanks to efficient coordination, it takes less than 45 minutes for thousands of visitors to pass through the access zones and reach the best vantage point in Montreal for admiring the fireworks.
A lot goes on behind the scenes to ensure these evenings run smoothly. Key steps include closing the bridge’s traffic lanes and approaches, along with the multipurpose path and sidewalk; securing access points from Montreal, Longueuil and Île Sainte-Hélène; and reopening the bridge.
