The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) would like to advise active mobility users that the multipurpose path will be closed between the Île Sainte-Hélène pavilion and Montreal from Friday, July 14, 8 p.m. to Saturday, July 15, noon.

There will also be a closure between the Île Sainte-Hélène pavilion and Longueuil from Friday, July 14 at 11:59 p.m. to Saturday, July 15 at 2 a.m.

This closure is necessary in order to permanently repair an expansion joint that had been damaged during snow removal operations on the path last March.

We will also take advantage of this closure to mark the ground for the speed limit.

• Users coming from Montreal will be able to take the sidewalk to get to the Île Sainte-Hélène pavilion, then use the pedestrian tunnel and take the path to the South Shore.
• Users coming from the South Shore will be able to go to the Île Sainte-Hélène pavilion, then use the pedestrian tunnel and take the sidewalk to Montreal.
