The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) is pleased to welcome the 1,000 cyclists who will take part in the 1,000 km event of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie on Sunday, June 12. 

To ensure the safety of everyone participating in the event, the Jacques Cartier Bridge will be completely closed on Sunday, June 12:

• Complete closure of the Jacques Cartier Bridge (in both directions) on Sunday, June 12, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
• The traffic lanes will reopen gradually starting at 1:45 p.m. 
• Access will be maintained for emergency services.
• The multipurpose path and the sidewalk of the bridge will remain open to users.
