WORK CANCELLED

The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to advise active mobility users that a portion of the multipurpose path will be closed at night due to redevelopment work at the South Shore entrance to the Jacques Cartier Bridge.

Thursday, September 4, between 10:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.

  • Closure of the multipurpose path between Saint-Charles Street access point and La Fayette Boulevard
  • Detour from Montreal: at the path closure, take the stairs down to Saint-Charles Street West, then follow the existing detour to reach La Fayette Boulevard.
  • Detour from Longueuil: continue on La Fayette Boulevard South, then turn right on Saint-Charles Street West and take the stairs to the bridge to join the multipurpose path.
  • The sidewalk on the east side of the bridge remains open along its entire length for pedestrians.
