Jacques Cartier Bridge | Complete closure of a portion of the sidewalk from October 5 to 30

The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated wishes to advise active mobility users that a portion of the sidewalk will be closed due to redevelopment work at the South Shore entrance to the Jacques Cartier Bridge.
 

Sunday, October 5, 11 p.m., to Thursday, October 30, 5 a.m.

  • Closure of the sidewalk between Saint-Charles Street access point and Charles-Le Moyne
  • Detour from Montreal: at the path closure, take the stairs down to Saint-Charles Street, then follow the existing detour to reach place Charles-Le Moyne.
  • Detour from Longueuil: continue on place Charles-Le Moyne, then turn left on Saint-Charles Street and take the stairs to the bridge to join the sidewalk.
  • The multipurpose path on the bridge remains open along its entire length during work.
