Brossard Sector | Major work on the Hwy. 10 East access ramp from April 5 to July 31
March 21, 2025 Original Champlain Bridge Champlain Deconstruction

The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to inform you that a new multipurpose path connecting the Samuel De Champlain Bridge and the Route verte will be built. This new cycling link requires the construction of a bicycle bridge over the access ramp to Hwy. 10 East from Hwy. 132 and Marie-Victorin Boulevard in the Samuel De Champlain Bridge area on the Brossard side.

A long-term hindrance is necessary in order to build the bicycle bridge:

April 5 and 6:

  • Construction site mobilization

From April 7 to July 31:

  • Lane reduction at exit 6 of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge toward Hwy.132 East and West
  • One lane closure at the junction of the ramps to access Hwy. 10 East from Hwy. 132 and Marie-Victorin Boulevard

Please note that this work may be cancelled or postponed depending on work progress and weather conditions.
