This virtual event organized by the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) will be at full capacity with over 500 participants. On May 5 and 6, three JCCBI engineers will share their knowledge about the different projects taking place on our infrastructure.
On May 5, Moctar Sidibé, Senior Engineer, Expertise, Research and Applications Directorate, will present a talk on the concept of ice force limits and design standards related to the Champlain Bridge Estacade, followed by lessons learned about the use of ultra high-performance fibre-reinforced concrete (UHPC) for a project to repair a pre-stressed concrete beam on the Bonaventure Expressway.
On May 6, Soufyane Loubar, Eng., M. Eng., Director of Expertise, Research and Applications, and Mohammadreza Moradiankhabiri, Eng. and M.Sc., Structural Engineer, Expertise, Research and Applications Directorate, will give a talk on a performance-based seismic assessment of the Jacques Cartier Bridge.
