Polytechnique students rewarded with a visit to the Jacques Cartier Bridge

5 July 2018

Graduate students in structural engineering at École Polytechnique de Montréal had the great pleasure of admiring the Jacques Cartier Bridge up close on June 27. They were accompanied on their tour by Soufyane Loubar and Emanuel Chênevert. The visit was their reward for giving the best presentations of an ongoing thesis project at the 3rd graduate student conference of the structural engineering research group of the Department of Civil Engineering at Polytechnique in May. Some students are working directly on research projects at the Centre for Infrastructure Innovation. At the conference, JCCBI’s Sylvie Boulanger gave the opening talk on “Graduate studies: A bridge to many careers.”
