VÉRONIQUE ROBITAILLE – DirectorEnvironmentSustainability

Every day, the Environment and Sustainability team works to provide sound environmental management for the Jacques Cartier Bridge. This means complying with applicable environmental and sustainable development laws and regulations as well as implementing and integrating recognized best environmental practices to protect, preserve and enhance the territory. Consulting with various groups affected by the management of the Jacques Cartier Bridge is also one of our core priorities.

MOHAMMADREZA MORADIANKHABIRI – Research and Development Lead

In the Research and Applications Directorate, were always looking for more innovative practices for all our structures. New materials to repair concrete along with predictive analyses of component life spans are good examples of this. For the Jacques Cartier Bridge, experimental wind tunnel studies and the development of a special sensor to assess the condition of steel components are also very beneficial innovative practices.

FRANÇOIS LAFOREST – Senior electrician, JCCBI

For François Laforest, who has been working as a senior electrician at JCCBI for the past 10 years, the Jacques Cartier Bridge no longer holds any secrets! François maintains more than one hundred electrical panels, which are all necessary for the proper operation of the bridge lighting, the lanes, the multifunctional path, the sidewalk, the cameras, the traffic lights and the bridge lighting program developed by Moment Factory.
