The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) would like to advise users that the multipurpose path and the sidewalk of the Jacques Cartier Bridge will reopen to pedestrian and bicycle traffic on Thursday, March 12, at 5:30 am. This means also that the simulation of winter operations project will end; the project report will be made public during the summer of 2020.
The multipurpose path and the sidewalk will be open at all times, except for occasional closures due to spring cleaning operations or weather conditions. It is essential that users respect the closure notices for the multipurpose path and the sidewalk for safety reasons.
As for the bicycle path on the Champlain Bridge Ice Control Structure, it will open to users starting mid-April, at the same time as the Parc Jean-Drapeau bicycle network.
JCCBI invites pedestrians and cyclists to be cautious and courteous on the paths and to follow all safety instructions throughout the season.
