Notice to residents | Montréal - Longueuil: Concrete repairs on the Jacques Cartier Bridge, September 13, 2019
September 13, 2019 Jacques Cartier Bridge

Dear Resident,

From mid-September to December 2019, The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) will be conducting concrete repairs on the South Shore and the Montreal sides of the Jacques Cartier Bridge. In the coming months, work will be done on the South Shore abutment of the bridge near Saint-Charles Street in Longueuil, and on the pedestals located between Érié and De Maisonneuve in Montreal. These repairs will be done during the day only and will not cause any major traffic hindrances in the local network.

During the work, the staircase of the multipurpose path leading to Saint-Charles Street in Longueuil along with the pedestrian crossing under the bridge will be completely closed from mid-September until November 2019. During the work, cyclists will be able to access Saint-Charles Street via La Fayette Boulevard.
