JCCBI’s vision is to become a mobility leader through its various projects, one of which aims to improve the Corporation’s intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Given the over 80 million trips taken every year on its major infrastructure, JCCBI wants to keep innovating to properly manage its structures, keep users safe, and improve mobility in the network.
 

The ITS project has three phases that include: 
 

• Installing a fibre optic loop that links JCCBI’s infrastructure together and to its partners’ systems.
• Deploying an integrated traffic management system.
• Improving the counting system on JCCBI’s different structures.
