2 April 2018
The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) would like to notify users that the multipurpose path on the Jacques Cartier Bridge is now open for the 2018 summer season.
However, the Jacques Cartier Bridge sidewalk will remain closed for a few weeks so that work to replace some guardrails can be completed.
JCCBI asks cyclists and pedestrians to show caution and courtesy on the network and to follow all safety rules throughout the season. Note that the traffic on the bicycle and pedestrian paths may be impacted by work at various times this coming season. Please obey the signs in place for your own safety and the safety of our workers.
Note that the bicycle path on the Champlain Bridge Ice Control Structure will open to pedestrians and cyclists starting April 15, at the same time as the Parc Jean Drapeau bicycle network.
Get the latest information about JCCBI’s bicycle and pedestrian network by consulting the Pedestrians and Cyclists section of our website, by following us on Twitter @pontJCBridge, or by signing up for our “pedestrians and cyclists” list or text alerts via our website at www.JacquesCartierChamplain.ca.
Have a good season!
