The magic of fireworks is coming back at the Jacques Cartier Bridge!

20 June 2018

The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) is pleased to welcome young and old alike to the Jacques Cartier Bridge to enjoy the 34th edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec from July 7 to August 8. To ensure spectator safety during the fireworks, the bridge will be completely closed in the evening from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The sidewalk and the multipurpose path will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on fireworks nights.

Again this summer, Montreal’s skyline will be lit up on Saturday and Wednesday evenings as the world’s greatest pyrotechnic artists display their talents:

  • Saturday, July 7 – Celebrate Tribute to ABBA (opening)
  • Wednesday, July 11 – Let’s Dance! (Austria)
  • Saturday, July 14 – The Butterfly Lovers (China)
  • Wednesday, July 18 – Immortals (Canada)
  • Saturday, July 21 – Of Games and Thrones (Philippines)
  • Saturday, July 28 – Rock Loves… Redux (USA)
  • Wednesday, August 1 – Shapeshifter (Australia)
  • Wednesday, August 8 – For your eyes only (finale des Étoiles Loto-Québec)

Reminder for people who want to watch the fireworks on the Jacques Cartier Bridge:

  • No glass containers
