As a public partner in major future work sites in the Île des Sœurs sector, the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) has been asked by the Office de consultation publique de Montréal (OCPM) and the Ville de Montréal to take part in a public consultation on the Special Planning Program for the north sector of Île des Sœurs to present the Champlain Bridge deconstruction project and the project to develop the shoreline and ice control structure.
The Champlain Bridge deconstruction will free up the equivalent of 7 hectares of land and give the community improved access to the St. Lawrence River. This is why members from JCCBI’s team will be there this Monday, September 30 to answer questions from Île des Sœurs residents about the Deconstruction Project as well as the Héritage Champlain program.
