Work blitz postponed to May 29, 2020 and preparatory paving work on May 22, 2020

Postponement of the first major work blitz, originally scheduled for the weekend of May 22, 2020:

  • Major levelling and paving work
  • Friday, May 29, starting at 8 p.m., to Monday, June 1, 2020, at 12 p.m.
  • Only one lane per direction will be open to traffic
  • Plan your travels and avoid the area

Second work blitz planned for the weekend of June 5, 2020:

  • Major levelling and paving work
  • Friday, June 5, starting at 8 p.m., to Monday, June 8, 2020, at 12 p.m.
  • Only one lane per direction will be open to traffic
  • Plan your travels and avoid the area.

Preparatory paving work:

  • Friday, May 22, 2020, 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Complete closure of the entrance to the Jacques Cartier Bridge by Sainte-Hélène Street
  • Lane reduction: only one lane per direction, between Longueuil and Île Sainte-Hélène

Note that the sidewalk will remain closed during this period and that the multipurpose path will be kept open during work.

For everyone’s safety, JCCBI is asking users to reduce their speed as they approach construction sites.
