Major deconstruction work on the shoreline and on the Île des Sœurs jetty for a period of 9 months:

• 92 modular trusses will be removed
• 7 spans will be deconstructed
• 28 structural components will be removed for the research and development program, and 9 components will be removed for reuse
• Construction of two fish migration passes

On-site mitigation measures:

• sound level meters
• air-quality measuring stations
• foggers
• seismograph
• limited trucking

The work will be done between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays under the close and ongoing supervision of JCCBI’s Environment and Health and Safety teams.
