Île des Soeurs sector | Significant trucking activities on René-Lévesque Blvd. and Place du Commerce from August 9 to the end of September
6 August 2021
The construction of the temporary jetty of the Seaway dike is on going and due to a complete long-term closure of René-Lévesque Blvd. (under the Samuel De Champlain Bridge) set up by another partner, JCCBI had to review the route taken by its trucks in coordination with the partners.
As of August 9, trucks will use Gaétan Laberge Blvd., Hwy. 15-South, exit 57 South (Île des Soeurs Blvd.), Île des Soeurs Blvd., Place du Commerce and René-Lévesque Blvd.
This work generates significant transport activities (approx. 80 transports/day weekday), in order to transport 120,000 tonnes of materials.
