Want an incredible construction experience? Then help build the Jacques Cartier Bridge—out of cardboard!
On Saturday, September 15, Montreal will welcome engineering artist Olivier Grossetête, who has created monumental structures out of cardboard in about ten cities around the world. Olivier has devised the largest cardboard structure ever built in Quebec, as the Jacques Cartier Bridge will be reproduced as an imposing structure nearly 100 feet long.
Come check out this incredible feat of construction on Saturday, September 15 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the Place des festivals (Quartier des spectacles). No need to be an engineering graduate! Whatever your experience level, you can spend a few hours building this unique ephemeral art installation. Bring your friends!
