24 September 2019
Once again this year, The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) is actively involved in the Journées de la culture from September 27 to September 29, 2019 and has three free activities for you to enjoy.
Near the Jacques Cartier Bridge, you’ll notice our small house-shaped posters inviting you to download the free Stories and Bridges app to experience the historical events that have forged Montreal’s history through seven places of interest and four augmented realities.
Among those augmented realities projects, did you know that the pedestrian crossing of the Île Sainte-Hélène pavilion has a hidden work of art? Artist Rafael Sottolichio completed the mural LA TRAVERSÉE in spring 2016.
New this year, artist Stéphanie Bérubé (B.RUE.B) created a spectacular 3D mural under the Bonaventure Expressway. Visitors can take in Montréal: voyage au fil du temps on foot or by bicycle.
Enjoy your Journées de la culture !
