The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI), partner of the Prix Relève in Municipal Infrastructure event of the Centre d’expertise et de recherche en infrastructures urbaines (CERIU), awarded this week four scholarships to students to support them in their applied research projects.
A jury composed of specialists evaluated each application according to eligibility conditions, objectives and very specific evaluation criteria. Recipients of the Prix Relève won a scholarship ranging from $500 to $1000 for the realization of their project:
Alain Balihuta Miruhode of the Polytechnique Montreal (2nd cycle) for his project Mechanical characterization of biocalcified materials used in road foundations and sub-foundations.
Laure Cerisy of the École de technologie supérieure (2nd cycle) for her project Evaluation tool for the daily socio-economic cost of interventions of municipal projects
Alireza Mohammadi from Concordia University (3rd cycle) for his project Level of comfort and safety in railway transit
Ahmed Assad from Concordia University (3rd cycle) for his project Holistic Resilience-Based Asset Management Project Using System Dynamics and Evolutionary Optimization Congratulations to the winners!
