10 February 2017
Each year at the end of February, hundreds of high school and CEGEP students go head to head with the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) to see who can create a strong but aesthetically pleasing bridge using just popsicle sticks, toothpicks, white glue, and dental floss! Prizes totalling $10,000 will be awarded to teams that show excellence in three categories: strength, design and aesthetics.
This year, JCCBI is proud to take part in this event for the first time. On February 24 and 25, construction engineers Justin McNicoll and Stéphanie Bleau will attend the event as guest judges and will meet the teams to learn more about their projects.
During the event, follow our Twitter feed @PJCCI to find out who the winners are. Good luck, everyone!
