Champlain Bridge: Closure of Marie-Victorin Boulevard East March 3 to 5

CONFIRMATION

Please note that the Marie-Victorin Boulevard East will be completely closed from Friday, March 3 (10:00 p.m.) to Monday, March 6 (5:00 a.m.), for the installation of modular trusses above Hwy. 132.

Closure details

  • Complete closure of Marie-Victorin Boulevard East at the access ramp for Hwy. 10 East to access Marie-Victorin East and/or the Champlain Bridge (see map 1)
  • Closure of the Exit 53 off-ramp from the Champlain Bridge to the South Shore to access Hwy. 132 East (see map 2)
  • Complete closure of Exit 53 of Hwy. 132 East to access Marie-Victorin East and/or the Champlain Bridge (see map 3)
  • Partial closure of one lane on Hwy. 132 East
  • Closure of one lane (toward Montreal), on Champlain Bridge, on Saturday, March 4, from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Closure of one lane (toward South Shore), on Champlain Bridge, on Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Marked detours will be in place throughout the weekend. JCCBI recommends that users plan their trips accordingly.

This work is part of the major repair program for the Champlain Bridge to ensure user safety until the new Champlain Bridge opens.
